Heading Back Home Again

It has been some time since I first started modding for Morrowind. I realy enjoyed making mods for Morrowind. I got a lot of great comments of people which gave me this kind of boost to continue working on mods for Morrowind. I put a lot of time in making mods and enjoyed doing it but it takes a lot of time. That's why I started working on my last project for Morrowind, my Gothic Mansion.
I decided not to start any new projects anymore after this mod is released, I still have to fix some mods like the Irashi-ru vampire head but a lot of unfinished projects which I did aren't going to be released. But ofcourse I don't want to stop and leave Morrowind forever, so I'll return in Oblivion with my mods.

Because this is one of my last mods I thought it would be nice to make it a good one. This is my biggest project I've ever made. So what's this Gothic Mansion about?

The Gothic Mansion is another housemod for Morrowind. Instead of using normal morrowind architecture models the mansion is filled with new models. It's going to be a lot bigger than I actually planned. The first basic layout contained one main room, a second room and a bedroom. Now the house is already expanded with a large staircase, study, secret hallways and even a large indoor garden. It may sound small but it's a lot larger than I actually wanted it to be.

A lot of people ask me if there is going to be a quest for this house, but unfortunately
I'm not a good scripter or creating quests in the editor. So the quest will be actually similair to the Eye of Ariisiss. Only this time the key is not randomly placed somewhere but this time it's realy going to be difficult. Not every hallway or room is what it seems to be. The "quest" of the Eye of Ariisiss was acutally boring. But this time it will take a lot more to find out the secret locations of the house.

The entire house is created in a typical Gothic style. Ofcourse not as detailed as a real gothic building but there will be some nice details ingame. The original idea was to make a vampire lair so it's going to be a dark place instead of a bright happy housemod. To make it suitable for normal players and vampire players I try to make a mix of dark and light.
Because there are a lot of details in the house the poly count will be a bit more than normal morrowind models, but I try to keep the size down.

There isn't realy a release date planned for this mod but I'm working on it for a few weeks, I started working on it end june and I'm now already allmost finished with the main interior. For more screenshots visit my Photobucket account.
